Author: Ralek
Subject: (Sorry about the long wait... between fencing, classes, and parents, I hardly ever get on...)
In reply to: T'kaal 's message, "[[OOC: Yes, school does take a lot out of a body...]]" on 15:46:22 01/19/02 Sat

The Weyrwoman listens silently, every so often giving a brief nod or shake of her head, or taking a dainty sip of her klah. As her weyrmate finishes, Ralek rises, pacing in a deliberate gait, back and forth across the dining hall. Rather uncharacteristic of her, but it seemed to help her think. Ater doing this several times, she stops, casting a glance at T'kaal. "You said that this is so difficult to handle because it has not been heard of for so many Turns... but many times this has been the case, and things have turned out for the better. If you'll remember," she pauses for a moment, grey eyes travelling to the ceiling, "golds could not fly, other than for mating, until Lessa made it so. That was something new and unheard of at the time, and it has benefitted most of us quite well. Perhaps this could be another of those times when change is inevitable..." With a helpless shrug, the Weyrwoman resumes her seat, brushing back a few stray strands of russet hair from her face. "Besides, knowing how greens can become, it would be rather difficult to seperate the two... Perhaps we'd best speak to Y'mir and K'rvike first, though. Just to make absolutely sure that this is what they want."
