Shay glanced up, and a smile spread across her face at the sight of her friend. 'Hullo!' As she listened to Ary's words, however, her expression turned immediately sober, and a frown creased her brow. 'I know something of fire-lizard healing... I don't imagine it's much different from dragon healing, and that was what I was planning to specialize in. Now, let's see...' She knelt down beside the worried bluerider and took the gold flit in her hands, carefully running a finger down L�rien's tail. 'Hmm... It seems to be a simple fracture, which we can splint, but she'll have to be careful not to jar her tail.' Shay got up and fetched a small wooden stick of wood, as well as a cloth from the kitchens. 'These will serve well enough,' she said, taking the flit's tail in her adroit fingers. She quickly fixed up a splint, wrapping the strip of cloth tightly round the tail, and tied it off with a hopeful grin. 'That should do it! Just make sure she's careful with that tail.'

She rocked back so she was resting on her heels, staring over at Ary with a grin. 'I just heard about Kylanth's mating flight. I could say I told you so, except I didn't. I did figure it out, though. Why is love so apparent to everyone but the "victims"?' At this she let out a soft sigh. 'I didn't even know I loved him, at least that way, till after he disappeared...' Her eyes grew misty as her mind traveled in the past. She suddenly pulled out of her memories. 'Oh... I'm sorry for prattling on like that. Oh, and by the way, since your queen is rather weak, you should try feeding her meat mashed up in milk. That's always a good thing for getting fire-lizards to eat.'
