K'ndelek, who had been rather...speechless up until now, walked over, still rather...speechless. The Acting WeyrLeader sighs, not tying to smile. He'd cry later.
"I'm sure Karksy, Thorn and Rika have all welcomed you to the Hatching Sands. Oh, and I wish to tell you I recieved a message from Ritaki saying she'll be here as soon as possible. I don't think there's much longer to wait."
He smiles sadly, not surprised to hear Dimath enter.
K'ndelek and Candidates, I heard what happened. My deepest apologies are offererd to all of you on your losses.
The brown said to all of them, then spoke only to his rider.
You said something of Ritaki?
K'ndelek nodded slightly.
Aye. She'll be coming back soon.
Dimath snorted and laid down, content to bask in the heated glow of the Sands for now.
