((So sorry I’m late!!!
Hey, I’ve got a question for you three—if your boy (as in dragon, since Mar is here) catches Loveth… will your rider remain a weyrmate or not? It won’t affect my decision too much—I have a char-builder for each one! S’non’s never been left by a weyrmate, he is scared to death of male weyrmates from previous experience, and he’s… well, never been in a straight relationship. So...yeah…
Also, I’m sorry about the tense-change in my last post. I like to write present-tense during Flights and sometimes Hatchings, and past-tense at normal times.))

Loveth gives a small call to her pursuers this time, gentle yet seductive. She loves flights, unlike her Impressed. It was just all too easy to make the males putty in her claws, following her blindly. She could dive into the ocean right now and they’d follow… not that she was so stupid. S’non, with his morbid humor, had joked that, eventually, a male would die in her flights, because she always loved to manipulate them so. This, of course, was an exaggeration; she loved them to follow her so trustfully, so she wouldn’t do anything too desperate.

She crooned, and turned her head to see the pursuers, watch them with interest.

Riorth, while the biggest, seems the quietest; this is midway between intriguing and annoying. Sure, his eyes are expressive, but she isn’t looking at him most of the time! Why won’t he make himself heard? That, if possible, makes her notice him more than if he bugled.

On the other hand, Raskith made himself heard about as much as she did! Shards, he was a vain one; Loveth’s never seen such a loud blue! It’s a mixture of wanting him to shut up and excitement that he was so motivated that brings him to her attention. He won’t be forgotten!

Myth, Myth… he is in between the two. He isn’t as loud-mouthed as Raskith, but louder than Riorth. Hm. That’s interesting; kind of the bridge between the extremes. In a way, this was very pleasant, but Loveth did wish she could pick out some kind of extreme there.

Well, Loveth would get nowhere but to boredom trying to psycho-analyze them like this! Giving a sharp turn, the green shoots straight up into the air, and looks behind her again. Once seeing that they’re all underneath her, she laughs again, bringing herself higher and higher. She does a loop and a barrel-spin, making sure to keep a safe distance, and still rising although now in arcs and turns, which are a slower ascent than just plain upward flight. Deftly, she turns on a wingtip, and shoots out, now above the ground again instead of the water. She laughs as she does a few more aerobics, and then levels out, about five dragons-lengths above the four riders. She smiles down at the form she recognizes as her S’non, then brings her attention to the males, who will be at her in seconds, judging by their distance and speed. They don’t seem to have a lead for the moment, all three together… perfect.

Now, to wait… She can literally start to pick out the molts of different colours on the blue and brown hides. They were almost at her—did they think they would catch her now? Was it possible?

Not yet.

Right as they were getting to her, Loveth gives the loudest bugle yet, and snaps her wings in a downward sweep so powerful that she causes a wind to toss S’non and the other rider’s hair and loose clothes. As fast as her lustful heart will go, she darts upward, in a straight line towards Rukbat. Higher and higher, and higher yet still! Are those males of hers following? She dares not turn her head to see, lest her aerodynamic body lose its perfect speed-shape. However, she knows she will probably hear Raskith bugle even past the winds, and possibly Myth… Riorth might be a problem with his silent streak, but she trusts that he was loyal enough to follow, even silently.

Soaring up to the heavens… her passionate gesture to all of Pern. Once so high that her wings start to strain, she abruptly flings them out, stopping almost immediately. She then turns her body, to face towards her males, and see which ones were with her and where…

((*The little analysis she gave was supposed to show your dragon’s good qualities, BTW, so she DOES like Riorth’s silence and such. Just wanted to clarify; I’m not trying to change your character! Hope I didn’t offend; those are her thoughts.*
**Okay… the next post, seeing as I don’t want to tie up the boards, will determine the winner. Write your best. You all have a good chance; if you have any doubts of wanting to catch her, let me know. I remember LG saying she joined to give Loveth some attention, and I appreciate this a lot, but I hope you that you, too, will try to win this. I like the way all three of you write!**
***Also, please don’t write past her turning around. You can write what you do when she turns around, but don’t assume that she stays there long enough to gain ground. I know that’s probably not a problem with you three… but, you never know.***))
