Subject: This was...sudden
In reply to: Mylanith & Talla 's message, "I, ah, may have run on a little long." on 23:07:54 08/29/06 Tue

F'rell was sitting down on his bed, back against the wall, staring off into space. Jariath was on his couch, watching his rider humorously, eyes whirling. The bronze rider noticed him, and turned his face to watch him. -Why are you staring at me?- he asked.

Jariath rumbled, laughing. Oh, nothing. It's just that- he stopped mid-sentence.

F'rell frowned. "Will you just-" he began, aloud, when suddenly the bronze dragon leapt off the ledge, soaring high. Startled, the bronze rider scrambled to his feet, running out of his weyr. He ran into a green rider down near the feeding grounds, but he quickly regained himself, mumbling a quick apology to the rider before hurrying off to pursue his dragon.

He found him in the flight area. He blinked as he came to a halt, staring at the form of Talla, and another bronze rider. Was that F'nlaur? His attention was brought to his dragon, who had leapt into the air, wings wide. Looking up, F'rell stared in astonishment as Jariath flew with surprising agility towards something golden in the sky.

That's when he realized what was going on. He recognized the form of Mylanith, his eyes going wide as he recognized the glow of the gold's hide. His gaze turned to the other bronze, then to his bronze, who was not far behind Bakarith. Not again, he thought, closing his eyes. He swayed suddenly as the feeling of the flight overcame him. He quickly caught himself, opened his eyes, and made it to stand a ways away from the goldrider before closing his eyes once more.

(Gah, that wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. I'll try harder next post, I promise.)
