Today i took my Tb mare,Kira out for a quiet hack.We had a great time jumping over fallen logs and running through the cool river.Kira played with the water and i got splashed--brr..it was quite chilly!
On our way home,we raced against the wind down the road to the barn.I untacked Kira,put on her fleece blanket and put her in her stall.I refilled her water buckets,and gave her her feed..a coarse mix feed.
She got some yummy treats,too!

After that,i tacked up my Qh gelding,Sky,and we went for a ride in the english arena.After warming up,we jumped some 3.5-foot jumps,and then went for 4 ft ones.We'll be practsing for more advanced jumps soon;)
Sky jumped great,but fought a bit with the bit and tried to refuse a couple times..he also bucked(but i managed to stay on)He was still quite excited from the trip to his new home!
After untacking,i slipped on his red fleece blanket and in he went to his stall.He had a full bucket,and didn't need re-filling.I fed him his mix feed,and gave him his treat.

Next,i went out and got Tara from her pasture and tacked her up-western.We just did some western pleasure in the outdoor arena,and went for a short hack down the road after.I fell off because tara reared,but i was okay!I hopped right back on!She spooked at a dog that ran across the road.Other than that,it was a great ride!
When we got back to the barn,i put on her fleece blanket,too,put her in her stall,refilled her water bucket and fed her her dinner-coarse mix feed.She was happy to recieve the yummy stud-muffin treat i offered her.

Well,i rode 3 times today,so i decided to lunge Kodiak&Liberal.We had fun.Liberal was awfully good today:)And Kodiak showed no signs of bad behaviour:)
After lunging,i slipped a fleece blanket on both of them,put them in their stalls,refilled their water buckets and fed them their dinner.I wrapped Kira's legs,and gave Sky his daily vitamin.After all was done,i went home,tired,but happy!:)
