SUBJECT: # 21960: Shark hippys fight to save the sea kings the sharks Submitted by Daniel (205.188.199.189) from Australia on 6/12/99 12:26:00 PM We shark hippys are for protecting marine life and that means sharks to sharks are not monsters ther not pest its us that are pest and monsters to the ocean all ready most of the world is dead because of human carelessness we must stop over fishing,over hunting,polution,by catch, and stop leaving fish nets for the long time or the ocean and the world will die even people will die sharks are better off alive sharks are our friends that lower down other numbers of sea life that can eat all the fish sharks all so eat dead and dieing sea life that can make others sick even people sick to death.we need sharks alive we shark hippys are for animal rights,earth day, and peace to all creatures and people that care for them the shark hippys is a world wide movement that first started in seattle washington u.s.a. by a hippy that started his worlds first shark hippy gruop that poped in to a movement and also the new hip movement of the future and we want sharks alive they are more then just sea creatures they are our simbols of the power of mother nature and they are the first to live as masters that romeed the deep.we must stop shark finning sharks are been killed by millions we must stop the killing of the worlds oceans and ther kings the sharks the shark is a creature of power,beauty,mysstery,and grace we need sharks alive to live sharks clean the waters of the world with ther ways of eating dieing sick sea live with out sharks and with so much dead or dieing sea life the world will die and its true by the year 2000 most life on earth will be dead world wide becuse of careless people all over the world save the sharks stop poaching and stop polution peace. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6/12/99 1:20:00 PM Capt. Lee (207.12.25.123) from HAWAII says Shark Finning I don't agree with all you say but I do agree that shark finning is a brutal and unnessary act by longliners and those who sell the by product. To see hundreds of dead sharks lying on the bottom because their fins were cut is something I don't believe any right thinking person wants. I don't fish for sharks but if that is your thing fine, release those you can, but the damage done by longliners is unacceptable. A shame the bill banning such did not pass in Hawaii. I think all real fisherman appreciate the the enjoyment of being on the water and the beauty of the things that swim in it. Yes shark hippy, all those things are nice, but I'm just curious, do shark hippies know anything at all about punctuation marks like the elusive PERIOD and the handy dandy CAPITAL letters when starting a sentence.If shark hippies could master these "complicated to some" writing skills think how much clearer their message would be.
