Hello, Nancy N!

Welcome! I've got my garden in, too and it's finally doing great now that the cut worms are gone. Now we're overrun with cicadas - thankfully they don't damage the plants. Hope yours turns out great!

Soon it will be Japanese beetles which eat everything. I have a beautiful Pussywillow tree and its a battle every year to keep them from eating up the tree. At least they shouldn't touch the vegges. :-)

Hi Nancy!
Welcome to the board! :)
I'm glad you're no longer "just lurking" ...
- maybe it will encourage other "newbies" to do the same?!

This week i've been makin' preparations as a "wannabe" gardener! :)
I have 7 large plastic containers in which there will be various and limited amounts of veggies ...
just enough to have the fun of watching them grow!

re: cicadas ...
can't really say that i'm gonna miss 'em ...
but, theirs is a very short and curious life ...
wonder what is their purpose in the scheme of things ...
this week, my school bus windshield has been bombarded by countless "kamikaze" cicadas! :) eeewww! :)
- BC

Good luck with the garden! I bought two bags of green bean seeds, so now I have about 80 plants. I'm going to be swimming in beans soon LOL!
