It was really cool Nancy. I haven't been on a horse since I was probably 11 and I loved it! I was hoping we'd see a bison while on the trails, but we didn't. When we were on the jeep ride we also saw a few yellow bellied marmots- cute kind of animal. I would love to go to Maine sometime, our kids piano teacher is from there. And one animal I hope to see in the wild someday is a moose! They told us a bison can get to 35 MPH in about 3 seconds, can turn faster than a horse. They also said to watch their tails. If down- all is okay. If part way up- give them some room, and if up all the way- you're in trouble! They have a round up the end of July in Custer then people purchase them for private heards, or restaurants. Hopefully someday we'll be able to go back and see it. Have a great day!
