Subject: Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

I've been thinking about green eggs and ham, sneetches and little Cindy Lou Who. Tomorrow we are celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday.

This first scene with the rain day was how we felt today as it rained this morning.

Hi guys...it has been a long time since I posted, I have been very busy---I just had my first baby!!!! Anyway, when I saw this I had to post because I think Dr. Seuss is amazing and I find myself creating similar nonsensical stories when I am trying to soothe my newborn back to sleep at 3am...I wonder if Dr. Seuss had kids??? It is amazing what your mind comes up with when you are sleep deprived.

Hi Gigi, congratulations! And, no Theodore Geisel didn't have any children of his own. He was very close to his niece though. I am reading a biography of his to my class at school :)

My little man is a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan. He just loves Hop on Pop. He also likes the Cat in the Hat show that comes on PBS.
Dr. Seuss was born in Springfield, MA, which is where I was born! A lot of schoolchildren in the area take trips to the Dr. Seuss sculpture garden there.
It's also Jon Bon Jovi's birthday, too!!
