Wow, Marcinda! That sounds pretty awesome! Do you have an interest in building stuff like that or in the recording industry? I would have liked to have sat in on that class. It sounds like it was really interesting!
I have an old Victrola (it doesn't have the horn) from 1925 that was a sweet 16 gift. I also have an extensive collection of old, old records for it. The thing is so loud because there's no volume control and it used to scare my cat when I played it. I have a lot of big band and musicals and a few classical pieces. I don't like to play it much because the needle mechanism is so delicate and expensive to fix if something happens.
