Hey yall, Im home, but I didnt wanna come home. I had about decided to buy a foreclosed property and just move up there. Theres alot of them right now. I saw lots of turkey and deer but no bear. Thats alright.
We had a very good time, I love the mountains but shame on me I didnt actually go up rudd hollow. Im bad I know.

On another note though,, When I arrived home there was a brand new filly running around in my horse paddock. yay!!
She is absolutely beautiful She's mostly white with some brown and her face and on her rump. I guess she would be considered a paint. This is a miniature horse. Her mom is a mini dapple gray. So Im excited.
BC let me know for sure when you send Eogghan on his final journey, I wanna stay close to the site to the threads that ensue afterwards!!!!
Oh and BC how do people in Tenn get any work done living in such a beautiful place. One day while we were there we spent on whole day almost in the creek catching crawl daddies as fairlight calls em, we filled up a big bowl full and cooked them with butter oh man they were good.
Any how
love on all of you
angela

[> [> [> smokin' crawdads -- bc, 08:29:26 04/22/11 Fri

does anyone remember the Beverly Hillbillies?
originally from TN ...
moved to CA ...

one specific episode re: crawdads
when the "hillbillies" met a group of "hippies" who learned that the Clampett's "smoked" crawdads ...
for, the Clampett's "smokin' crawdads" was a similar process to "smokin' a ham" ...
for the hippies, "smokin' crawdads meant something else entirely"! :)

i've been searchin' YouTube ...
but, haven't yet been able to find a vid from that particular episode

i hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend

"crawdaddies" are lobster "wannabees"! :)
i've seen many in my day ...
"crawdaddies" that is ...
but, i've never dined on them Angela! :)
seems like an awful lotta work for a little bit of meat!
or, maybe they're supposed to be kinda like appetizers or finger sandwiches?
but, isn't it wonderful how in our existence we are supplied with any and everything we need if we take the time to look?!

TN is truly beautiful ...
especially along it's eastern border!
i'm glad that you were able to vacation there ...
- that you were able to appreciate and enjoy your time!
- and, that you yourself weren't "lunch" or a "midnight snack" for "smokey the bear"! :)

congratulations on the "new addition" to your family! :)

maybe you and your family can come visit with us here in middle TN sometime?! we might even take a drive down to Chattanooga?! have you ever been there?

and, i'll keep you posted on Eoghann's "10-20 whereabouts" ...
just as soon as i can pinpoint his current location ...
he's a bit of a "wanderer" himself ya know?

BC Im glad I was able to go to Tennessee too. Its a very pretty place. Chasing crawdads and lizards was always a fun thing to do when I visited my grandparents in Boone. I guess you could say I sauteed them. But when your boys spend so long looking for them you have to cook them! My youngest also caught a nice size bass and of course I cooked that too.
Im glad we werent anyone else's lunch but I wouldve liked to see some bears.
When you get Eogghan back kiss him for me, Im glad he will be going to his final destination soon. I hope he enjoys it.
Maybe someday we could get up that way to central tenn. I have been to knoxville, I think thats where we were for a youth conference. Thats as far west as Ive been.
love yall
angela

and, each others company ...
while creating some lovely memories that will last a lifetime!
