Dude, Randi.org is a serious organisation.

Randi himself has been known to disprove several hoaxes.
All Randi is doing is offering a one million US dollar prize to anyone who can academically prove any extraordinary phenomenon, such as magic or the mystical aspects of Qigong.

Even without the Randi organisation, it would still stand to reason to any intelligent person that any hypothesis would require a sufficient amount of credible evidence before it can be accepted as truth. Anything else would simply be a theory (e.g.: evolution).

I mean, would you purchase medicine from a pharmacy if that medicine had not been thoroughly tested in labs? Most people wouldn't -- in fact, most medicines have to undergo stringent research and produce results beyond reasonable doubt that they can do what they're supposed to do.

Supernatural phenomena on the other hand, has failed to provide any such empirical evidence and therefore any serious claim that such phenomena are undeniable facts would be purely illogical (re: stupid).
