Subject: Chi Kung

Hi all,

I have been reading about getting energy from oxygen and the methods of breathing used in many forms of martial arts originating in shaolin kung fu and all the texts i have come across all say similar things. You breath deeply, down to just below your navel and exhale in a smooth, slow and regular process... The only thing that is not mentioned is when to apply these methods. Are you supposed to attempt to control your breathing whilst executing fast techniques or only train your breathing whilst doing slow movements that mirror your breathing.

Anyone with more info / experience, pls post your comments.

Akart.
