dear Mother,
My 10 r old son is dyslexic.i was told i had to wait until ten years of age for a proper diagnosis. This must be with a psychologist,. Interestingly the highest countries academically do not send their boys to school until 8-9 yrs of age I read....
I homeschool my two sons, one dyslexic, my youngest brother homeschooled 33 yrs old did not learn to read until 14yrs old, noe heads a College , he found the computer helpful. buy programmes such as (jolly phonics),reading eggs, even look in discounted shops for software. i have found that these have taught my son the most with his learning his sounds...(A.C.E) schooling programme pre kindergarten iss fantastic... put their large letter drawing boards with a d.v.d interactive programme.
