adding to y previous letter, sorry I meant to state at nine yrs of age my son was diagnosed, not ten, also hearing and eye tests will not determine dyslexia. My sons hearing test by a specialist was stated to be the best testing she had , experienced for s nine year old, undergone testing by her....AA Dr Levinson in America has a theory on how the dyslexi child does not pick up the sound with hearing...After my son has vitaamins, ginko biloba ect his dysgraphia is better in a short while..As he is so allergic and had to have phenergan for allergies i realised how he write so neat , and can do maths well after a dose.....The older immunologist my son went to for his allergies know nothing about dyslexia he stated but believes it could be affected by allergies,,,,,I agree..Go for all the help you can at school... dyslexia does not qualify for help in n.s.w australia where i live,,,partly why i am homeschooling, god bless good luck, and remember to always look and praise how far youe childhas come not focus on how much he/she must go....we all are good at something different in life....
