Subject: "Now where is he?"

Deb entered the vast Docking Bay and looked about. She was aware of how the brisk walk had left her more winded than usual, and the tighness of her uniform against her belly was an uncomfortable reminder of her condition. For a moment she considered the foolishness of taking an assignment away from the Starbase, amid the debris left from the destruction of the station's flagship the SP Boardhopper. Once such risks would be worth chancing to save a patient, her own life be damned. but now she had another to consider, a life growing inside of her, and a responsibility to both her baby and the baby's father.

There was no sign of a medical officer to fly a shuttle and accompany her, despite an earlier request. She almost turned and departed when she saw http://www.voy.com/33337/49.html' target=_blankOrderly Dyson waving at her from the port of a medical shuttle a few rows from where she stood. Dyson. Of course. She sighed and thought once more of the welfare of her patient. She begin walking toward the shuttle, thankful that her pregnancy had seemingly enhanced her once mild telekinetic abilities. Perhaps debris would not be that big an obstacle after all...

She boarded the shuttle and the two were soon on their way.
