Subject: Impending Chaos was growing in the streets outside...

He had almost no sooner stepped into the Grand Hall of the Council Building when Nightshade had contacted him, telling him not to come into the Lab yet. Instead, he had lingered near to the very door he had entered through, awaiting word from someone to let him know what was going on.

While he had been standing there, he had thought he'd heard screaming coming from the streets. At first dismissing it as a figment of his over-worked imagination, he again heard it, much clearer. He had strained his ears to hear what was very distinctly panic in the streets. Checking a nearby viewscreen, he had seen with his own eyes the vast confusion, and nearly gone into a panic himself. It had been everything he could do to keep from running in and alerting everyone about...about what? The situation? He couldn't even begin to fathom a guess as to what the situation even was out there. But he knew it had to be something big...

When Cliffjumper had contacted him again, he had very nearly run into the lab. Nightshade had walked past him with some female in front of him, but he took no real notice of them. Instead, he went to Orbital, and took him aside.

Decado, what the...calm down!

Decado merely switched the screen on the nearest monitor to show the streets outside. Orbital's metal mouth fell open.

What in the name of Primus! The streets...the people, they...what is going on out there?! Prowl!

The urgency in Orbital's voice caused nearly every head in the room to spin around to face him. As if things weren't already stressful enough as it was, the last thing they needed was something else on their plate.

Orbital's frazzled look and Decado's wide-eyed frenzy attracted the attention of most the people gathered in the lab. As they approached the monitor, they could plainly see what was happening. Every face looked more stunned than the next. Only Perceptor had remained at his post, still hurriedly trying to salvage the lives of two valiant men still trapped in a world that no longer existed.

Prowl was the first to snap to his senses at the chaos. He immediately began snapping out orders to the others. Orbital, get on the horn and alert every available Operative you can to what's going on. You'll stay here and help Perceptor. Take over for NOVA. Alex, NOVA, and Cliffjumper...you're all coming with me into the streets to try and calm the crowds. Decado, get back to the Senate and alert them to the situation, if they aren't already aware. Slashclaw and Talamac...you have a choice. Stay here if you like, but we may need help in the streets. The choice is yours to make.

He took a moment to survey everyone's faces. Though they had no idea what to expect in the streets, he could see not the first flinching face. He remembered why he loved being with these people.

Let's get to it, people!

Prowl turned towards the door, and led the others out into the Hall. He wondered what was going through the minds of his companions...
