In U17B—27 recalled….one judge gave 20 ties to the dancers….meaning 20/27 tied with another dancer. I find that incredibly odd given the level of dancing at a major. Anyone have any credible insight as to why judges give ties when it ends up that the dancer then have to split the irish points. I can see a few, but over 2/3 of the dancers tying with someone else.
