[> There are several choices in the Twin Cities area. Most are CLRG but there are some CRN/open platform schools and some that are performance only. -- Dance mom in MPLS, 11:38:24 11/17/23 Fri (174-20-184-114.mpls.qwest.net/174.20.184.114)

It really depends what type of experience you are looking for, we have schools that are primarily competition focused, some that are performance only, and everything in-between. Most schools attend the Irish Fair in mid August and the Day of Dance celebration St. Patrick's day weekend, both are held in St Paul. Most, if not all of the local schools are listed in the irishartsmn.org resources page. If you do end up relocating I would ask your current TCRG if they have recommendations and visit a few of our local schools. We absolutely love our school and it is the perfect fit for us, I am sure you will be able to find a good fit for your dancer in one of our schools.

[> Many good schools. -- See inside, 13:10:13 11/17/23 Fri (NoHost/172.58.10.129)

The schools are pretty dispersed geographically and I would start by looking at schools close to you. Driving in rush hour in the Twin Cities can be soul crushing and the route you have to take to get somewhere can matter as much as the distance.

If you are going to live east of the Mississippi, look at O’Shea first.

If you are west of the Mississippi, it all depends how far west. Mactir is in Minneapolis and Corda Mor is in a first-ring suburb. Hudson, OMG, Eilish and Ardagh (I know I’m spelling that wrong) are further west in different locations.

Shamrock is still around but I don’t know where they are.

Talk with the TCs at the closer schools, observe classes (especially how the dancers interact with each other) and talk to the parents. No school is perfect, they all have their pros and cons.
