Subject: Why do dancers/parents need to know names of judges in advance if there's not a chance of a dancer/teacher conflict?

I understand that if your ADCRG / SDCRG is judging, you can't attend a feis; but aside from that, is there a need to know judges in advance? If you're looking to avoid or get in front of a certain judge, there's not guarantee that particular judge will be at your specific stage.
