Date Posted: 16:25:49 02/21/08 Thu I recently purchased a pc-1145 Marantz (coin operated) Player piano. It does not presently "play" though it "blows" no fuses.appears intact etc.. I noted that the original 3way plug was missing the grounding "prong"( appeared to have been removed). I have since replaced it with a new 3 way plug, with no ill effect to the pianocorder system. Was this replacement plug a good idea? I note that troubleshooting notes for the Marantz player pianos recommend "floating" test equipment. Is it probable that this 3 way ground plug was purposely removed with some valid reason .What is your opinion on a 3way plug as original manuals indicate should be. thanks.
