Deb smiled and thanked the young nurse who wiped her brow with a cloth. The procedure had gone as well as could be expected given her unfamiliarity with Lost_1ne's physiology. He looked human enough now, but who knew exactly how different he was. The transfusion went as planned, using O Negative just to be safe, despite Saber's notion that her pilot's blood would be 'adaptable.' Vital readings seemed good and they had reinfused a pint of his own blood as advised. Several pouches were kept as well in cold storage just in case; a standard procedure.

Deb was exhausted. Molly and Alcatraz were watching Ali now; indeed it seemed everyone was watching her. As for the little girl, her eyes never left Lost. Deb felt a lump in her throat as she thought of Ali's father; it was too soon for another traumatic loss for the young girl; much to soon.

Firm, reassuring hands gripped her shoulders. Without turning around Deb put her right hand over the hand cradling her left shoulder. Edward Antony wordlessly led her into his office, and closed the door. With Ali back, and Lost hopefully on the mend, it was finally time for Deborah Reed to make sure she herself was okay...
