A station-wide communication bulletin went across all view screens.

Prepare for a message from Captain Howitzer

The screens changed to an image of Captain Howitzer. His face was stern and it was apparent he was bringing bad news.

�Today, Rugby Colony T�orros was attacked by an inter-galatic terrorist group known as the Wolf Brigade. The attack was meticulously planned and viciously carried out. They have taken hostages in a cowardly act to try and assure that Rugby will not respond. Cowardly acts will never be headed under my watch. Top officials are already planning our response, but do not worry, we will keep the hostages in mind, we will not risk their lives.

Rugby is a light in the SPUniverse, we are a beacon of hope to all around us. They look to us for leadership, for guidance, for protection, and for friendship. We have and always will be willing to supply this to all who need it. However, every light has its shadows. There will always be the evil force trying to take the beacon down. No matter how much we accomplish, no matter how much we overcome, no matter how many times we defeat evil; we will have to do it again. Do not fear though; for the light will always overcome the darkness. Rugby will rise to the occasion once again. We have a history of strength; of coming back against all odds�we will now add to that history once again.

We�ve faced much together; we�ve overcome every obstacle in our way. This station has lived through the Massacre, the TLA, the loss of our flagship, and the WR@. It is all due to you, the beings of this station that come together in times of trouble and give it all they have. You have faced the storm and yelled to the wind �Do your worse, for I�ll do mine!� I ask that you bind together and face the storm again. We will get T�orros back, but we must do it together. Thank you and may God bless Starbase Rugby.�
