Maritime shook his head. Schism was hardly the easiest senator to deal with at times. The technorganic grabbed his senator's shoulder and shook it.

Shism whirled in his chair, his headphones yanking out of the wall unit even as Bobby Darin's Dream Lover blared from the wall unit. Schism flipped off the video and helped Maritime to his feet, the lures in the Vehicon's helmet jangling.

"Is it time for our fishing trip?"

"In a manner of speaking, sir. Betacron has finally followed up on his earlier request for a meeting."

"Oh yeah....did the cybertrout ever set a time?"

"Uh...actually, Betacron's alt-mode is that of a technorganic Tyrannosaurus Rex, not a...cybertrout. And yes, he may have...

You....destroyed a message drone earlier."

"Well it should have knocked! How was I to know it didn't want my lure? We're Senator's for Megatron's sake! Isn't there room in the budget for locks on our doors?!"

"Brilliant as ever sir."

"Thank you. So why didn't you check for me if the message drone was indeed scheduling the meeting?"

"Up until recently, we've been confined to quarters until a security sweep was completed to find possible assassins."

"Sweet leaping Salmon! When did this happen?!"

"Earlier sir...the 'window washer' you dislodged...naturally his subsequent explosion on the way down caused some...suspicion and concern.

It seems now to be an isolated incident."

"Just as long as my lure's okay....all right, let's go see what the jellyfish wants and get our free stuff!"

Maritime thought of correcting his boss once more as the pair made their way to the Grand Meeting Hall, but decided against it, having learned long ago to pick his battles...
