Thank God You’re Here: Nice premise, but poorly written. I don’t know who David Alan Grier is, but everyone sure seems to hate him. Although, when I was reading it, it gave me the impression that the writer has a deep, personal conflict against him. Huh, a deranged fan has a vendetta against David Alan Grier… makes for a nice sketch. (That’s not to say I think the writer is a deranged fan, I’m sure that if I knew David Alan Grier, I would exhibit much of the same hate toward him). I also found the Don Imus part just kind of “thrown together”. I agree with Jim, it’s been done to death.

Shia LaBeouf's Monologue: On a happier note, I loved the monologue. That was hilarious, and, in my opinion, better than any crappy song-and-dance routine SNL has done in the last season. Keep up the good work!

Peyton Manning For Condoms: I liked this sketch, made me chuckle and it’s original. It IS short, but it IS a PSA. But why Jason Sudeikis as Peyton Manning?

Shrimp on the Barry: Great sketch! I loved everything about it. It had nice flow, natural dialogue, and well… shrimp dicks. I just wish I hadn’t eaten shrimp for lunch today.

A Look Through the Eyes of George W. Bush: Wow! Who’s the a-hole that wrote this piece of garbage, how dare he wrong our country’s president?
But, seriously, I’d like to say that this was only my second sketch and that I wrote it just because it was something easy to get me started. Again, it does not reflect my writing or political views.

Elmer Fudd's Countwy Cwooning: Very funny! I was a little skeptical at first because I thought you had to have a general knowledge of country music, luckily it turned out great! I can safely say that I will never look at Elmer Fudd again without thinking of this sketch. Next stop: Donald Duck covers Devo.

Weekend Update: I only got through about half of it (sorry I have homework), but from what I read, I honestly think it holds it’s own. There are a few rough edges, but overall, it’s good. I don’t know how well it would hold up against the real Weekend Update since that is the only thing keeping SNL funny (that and occasional freaky robot sex), but I liked it.

Lucas Goes Off the Deep End…: This was a so-so sketch. I did not like the beginning and thought it to be too flat and kind of boring, but I did like the very random Monty Python-esque ending. I too want to see the “Crazy General” sketch happen somewhere in the future.

Backstage at Saturday Night You: Not your best work on the show, but still very funny. Love the Keenan Thompson bit.

Stinging To A Kill: I’m sorry, but I just didn’t find this at all funny. I laughed a bit at the beginning—it is a funny title—but the jokes got old too soon. I would say you lost me when you said, “money for nothing, chicks for free”. That is a Dire Straits song. So get it right because, in my opinion, it’s an insult to Dire Straits to even compare them to The Police.

Ode on a Ten-foot Shlong: I won’t comment on this, but just for giggles, look up the word sylvan.
