Subject: I'm so glad you brought up the Sarah Silverman show!

I also enjoyed Jesus is Magic and as a stand up comic Sarah is great But the whole show format just created this forced sitcom with a lot loopy gags that went nowhere. She had a great supporting cast but Sarah herself didn't really work within this show. But everyone I talked to would be like... You don't know Sarah, her show rules, you just don't get her shock humor! To me the whole concept of "shock humor" has worn out it's welcome. I mean humor can have shocking contexts but I don't think a comedian should solely rely on shocks to get laughs. Sarah has some gerat material, but there are times when she goes for the shock humor when she could easily create something funny.
