Subject: 1752, Franklin:"Electricity flows from surplus."

In 1752, Benjamin Franklin (Statesman, Scholar, Etc) experimentally verified the electrical nature of lightning.
And introduced the one-fluid theory of flow of electricity;
from surplus or positive to deficiency or negative.
His theory thus contained the first clear statement, now
known as, "The law of conservation of electric charge."
Generalizing: in 1752, the study of the physical forces in Nature was called, "Natural Philosophy". And the flow of electricity (electrons) from surplus to deficiency was & is fundamental to the study of electricity.
Further, the "Laws of Conservation of [Etc]" are fundamental to the study of our Universe.
