Part 2

From the Docking Bay, screams echoed into the Command Center, as a low rumble from multiple explosions shook the station.

"Launch a full scale evacuation!"

The halls of the station filled with screaming, panicking civilians, along with slightly more calm officers. All tried to carry out as many personal belongings as they could, into the escape pods.

Boooooooooooom!

The station shook, lights above the frightened escapees exploded, and power shut down. With a small hum, emergency power came on, giving people enough light to see their coming fate....

"Escape is no longer an option, Captain Typhoon! We must fight!" Air Raid pleaded with the depressed leader. "We can still win this thing! We can protect these civilians." The captain stayed hunched over in his command chair as he just shook his head.

"There is no way we can fight against that thing. It is over, Air Raid! It's just a matter of waiting now."

"No! Surely we can win if we try!"

"He's already destroyed so many. We've tried everything. Lasers don't stop it. Missiles don't stop it. Hand-to-hand combat doesn't stop it. It's.....over."

"You can stay here if you want, but I will fight! Air Raid, MAXIMIZE!!!"

His parts rotated and shifted, forming a large black Raven, and with a strong flap of his wings, he flew off to face the intruder and his fate...

"Come, tin-man, fight like a bot!"

The intruder was a massive beast. Larger then the average Predacon, and gruesome to look at. He carried a large, multi-rocket launcher, and another pair of guns on his waist. He laughed a dark and sinister laugh, as he knocked over the few remaining bar tables in search of Tankup.

"Stop, Beast!"

The intruder spun around, facing the transformed Air Raid.

BLAST!

The "beast" flew backwards, crashing through a table in the process. Air Raid aimed his blaster at the fallen Transformer. Smoke came from blaster's tip as Air Raid glared down at the intruder. A burn mark marred the beast's chest. The wound was barely noticeable, but it seemed to have done its job. Air Raid stepped towards him, keeping the weapon trained on him at all times. The intruder's eyes were closed, his limbs were limp...

"You fell too easily."

In the blink of an eye, the Transformer jumped to his feet, kicking the blaster out of Air Raid's hands!

"...And you're too gullible!"

Receiving a blow to the abdomen, Air Raid stumbled backwards.

Shing!

With one fluid motion, Air Raid drew his saber from its sheath, and charged the beast.

Clang!

With ease, the beast blocked it with his forearm, laughing in the face of the Maximal.

"I will fight you 'til the end beast!"

"You heroes are all the same. You die the same too...."

With a great show of strength, the monster shoved Air Raid, sending the Maximal flying into a bar wall. Crawling out of the newly made crevice in the wall, he struggled to his feet, still not admitting defeat.

"This is over, 'hero'!"

The monster raised a single blaster to the Avian maximal, his finger squeezing the trigger...

Blast!

As if in slow motion, Air Raid watched the beam of energy fly across the bar, striking him in the chest. His limbs flew upwards as his body fell backwards into the wall.

Thud...

Sitting partially upright, Air Raid looked at his opponent as he approached.

"You will meet your end. Someone, somewhere will come around and end your slagging life!"

"Mwhahahaha! A nice thought. but I truly doubt that!" The beast bent down, staring directly into Air Raid's optics. With a last ounce of effort, Air Raid spit in the monsters face. The intruder wiped the mech-fluid off his face, a look of pure disgust on his face. "Come now, can't we die with a little dignity?" The TF's hand gripped Air Raid's throat, lifting him off the ground. With a quick twist, everything went black.
