*Saddle feeds all the horses, then grooms them all, paying special attention to Stormy, a sweet gray broodmare. the horse had been a racer when she was young, but she fractured her cannon bone, leaving her lame for life. Then she turns out Stormy, and the horse Travis was riding until he got his own horse. Then she tacks up Silky. the beautiful chestnut dances eagerly in the crossties. She quickly saddles him and tightens the girth, then slips the bridle over his head. the stallion willingly accepts the bit, then she leads the prancing horse to the dressage ring and mounts. after a good warm-up, she does some leg yeilds and turns on the forehand to warm up his lateral work. then she does some half passes, shoulder ins and hanuches-ins. After an hour of hard work, she cools him out and takes him back to the barn, then untacks him, grooms him, puts his turnout rug on and turns him out. He trots around the paddock several times, then settles down to graze. Next she rides TC. the stallion had also broken a cannon bone, but his injury had not been as bad as Stormys. he was completely sound and his leg was strong. She jumps him over a 2'6 course, then does a 2'9 course. he does the 2'6 course flawlessly, but taps the oxer with his hind legs in the 2'9 course. Overall, he preforms wonderfully, so Saddle cools him out, grooms and blankets him, then turns him out. After riding TC, she gets Ice out of his stall. the young stallion dances back and forth on the crossties excitedly, still not used to his new home. Saddle tacks him up and gets out the lounging equipment. she takes him to the indoor and lounges him. he is very interested in everything and does not pay attention to Saddle very well, so she decides not to ride him until he has settled in more. After awhile, she cools him out, untacks grooms and blankets him, and turns him out. by then, Kelsey and Travis were at the barn. "When can we ride?" Kelsey asks, eager to try out her new horse, Tori. "As soon as i finish cleaning up i'll come watch you ride Tori and Travis can ride Lady at the same time." Saddle tells her. "Ok, lets go groom and tack up" Kelsey says eagerly. "Alright, be careful!" Saddle calls.*
