"woa" i said as i mounted b-man. it was his first time in a dressage saddle, and he didn't notice a difference. the all purpose saddle i had usually been using with him was not that much different, except it wasn't dressage, i mean same size, same leveling, padding, ect. he responded quite well. i think he's coming around. i tried to take him over a pole at a walk, that was his lesson of the day. he refused it a zillion times but i got off, talked to him and walked with him over it several times, and he seemed quite fine. then i mounted, and tried that way, the first time he went right over it, and the seconed time he hesitated, but went over as i talked to him. i'm very proud of his progress! in one day, he put up with a dressage saddle, and walked over a pole. i hope next time we try going over the pole again and he won't forget that it won't jump out at him. i'm so proud!
