make sure you got technics. decent pair of headphones as they do count!!!!!!!! Technics/Sony/Senheiser HD25 or HD25SP

nice pair of monitors, postioned well in the room. Try to keep them off the floor, ear level it poss.

Start deck one. Find the on beat of deck 2. Match the tempo with the pitch control. Count the beats in the bars as you go along in your head. 1 2 3 4 / 2 2 3 4 / 3 2 3 4 / 4 2 3 4. And cross fade when you think the tempo is matched.

Best way is to play around and get the feel. There are many topics on the web from beginners to advanced techniques.

Hi Becs, i know all that, but i think if you have someone else there telling you, you learn a lot quicker!! i know all about mixing, but need that bit of guidance. to have someone better listening etc.
