Well if you know all that you should be well on your way.And shouldnt really need any guidance. Not unless you want to do backflips and headspinning while in the mix. Now thats another dimension. Cant help u out there.

True she may learn that bit faster if she has personal tuition but that is costly.Look how many dj academys there are in dj and see how much they charge.

The only was is to do it yourself sometimes or get some friends with the same intrests. Get togehter and share tips etc.

So why dont you both get together and do the above.

As for judgement of your own work make a mix tape. Dont worry if it sounds crap. Listen to it and listen to the good points in it. Then make another maybe a week later and keep doing so, until you can string 45-60 mins of fluid work together. Then go back and listen to one of your tapes you first made, beleive me its funny. Then you,ll realise how far you have come.

Give it out to your mates let them be them judge. Tell em its danny rampling or kenny dope in the mix and see if they can tell the diff. Then you,ll know if you are at a good level.

Everyone has to learn some get their slowly some get there fast but its the end result that counts.

Only one problem with the last suggestion - Danny Rampling's mixing is utter shite! If you want to hear a good mixer then Sasha is the one to follow...
