The violet starseeker patted Darkstar's head; had they been human it would have been the equivalent of toussling another's hair playfully. It was a rare gesture for the normally gruff courier, who quickly resumed his usual facade as his Nebulan partner joined them.

"Uh, hey Merc, lookit who else pulled through this shockin' mess; it's Darkstar!

Yeah, 'Doo ain't talkin' much yet 'star...but I figure we get him to one of the field medics an he'll be awright...thing is, we don't know shockin' JACK about this ship's layout...or where it's medbay is. Even if we did, Magnum ain't had time enough ta assign his people and bots to the right places.

Best bet is ta go up the lift ta the bridge, an see what everyone else is up to. Medstaff or someone useful's bound ta be there.

Mercado flew ahead and held the lift-doors open for them. As he was binary-bonded to Ebonhawk near the end of the great war, he hadn't known many Decepticons himself. But 'hawk had been the best friend and staunchest ally he'd ever known, and in the past few month's he had come to recognize the valor in FawnDoo as well. His sentiments mirrored Darkstar's; with so few left, even one loss would be monumental....
