Subject: Pressing matters.....

FawnDoo stepped up to the Captain�s chair, the smile from his conversation with Muldoon fading. Inwardly he berated himself for being sidetracked, dragged from mission to mission until he found himself here, separated from his friends and on an unfamiliar ship not under his control. He thought of Shaper, lost for some time now in parts unknown. He thought of his friends Shadow, Batbot and LEGOman, lost primus knew where. He thought of his vision, of the words of the shadowy figure. Forcing down the chill that surged within him, he thought angrily, that will do no good. Deal with what is now, not what you think should be.

"Captain," he started, lowering his voice enough so that it didn�t carry across the bridge. "I did not come here willingly � I was dragged here by Powerline. He and his team attacked my friends and I in a realm of the LEGOpeople, and 'Line dragged me here. Why he took such a dislike to me, I don�t know." A brief smile. "Perhaps because I dented his robo-monkey, who can tell? The point remains, I have to find my friends. If I do not a dark power will rise, a power that will cast the SPUniverse into an eternity of chaos and pain if we let it. I was one of a team brought together to stop that from happening.

Magnum stirred. "Indeed." He indicated the bridge, making his point perfectly clear � he had concerns of his own right now. FawnDoo got his meaning.

"I understand you have problems of your own, Magnum, but trust me on this if nothing else � the Paleguard are everyone�s problem. As I said, I was one of a team brought together to fight them. Since then we�ve lost our tutor, and our home realm co-ordinates don�t seem to respond to a subspace ping anymore." At Magnum�s raised eyebrow he shrugged. "Okay, so we won�t win any prizes for organisation, I admit."

Muldoon, across the bridge, looked up with some curiosity. Noticing, FawnDoo dropped his voice even lower. "Do not make the mistake of many in history, Magnum, ignoring a potential problem until it holds a knife to your throat. I need to find Shaper, my teacher, to avert this threat. To do that I need to find my friends. I�m more than happy to help sort things out here, but I�ll need to be going soon."

Muldoon started to walk over. Magnum turned his head slightly. "As you were, Chief." The engineer, irritated, turned about and went back to his station.

"What are you suggesting?" Magnum asked.

"I need to find my friends. I can think of only two places that have the resources to do that, and one of them is Rugby. The other.....is closed to me." He sighed. "I need help. Your ship and Rugby have databases that might reduce my search. I need you to help me find the LEGOrealms, and I also need you to stand with me and the others when the time comes to face those who would drown us all in chaos."

Ah good, they�re coming back up, FawnDoo thought, noting something on his internal scanners. Ebonhawk and Dark Star�s lifetraces were nearing the bridge, though Dark Star�s seemed.....different, somehow.

"What do you say, Captain? Can I ask for your help?"
