Subject: Divided We Fall

Seeing as the Izzard board has finally been killed as dead as someone who fell off a horse, I think it is time for me to do some of my spouting again!!

I have mooned before that I didn't come online to make friends but to be creative with my websites. I had no idea how time consuming this would be for me or how little memory I have in my head and on my computer for snappy software!

I admit, Izzard is the first thing I searched for when I went online almost 4 years ago and I found this community where people chatted live in the Message Subject Box and I have not found that anywhere else online since.

Many things seem to have split us all asunder so much so that we didn't even have an Eddie Birthday party this year.

I think the acting and lack of live comedy to discuss and quote is the biggest factor.

However, I have always thought that one thing that did divide us, but not always to this extent, was the split between the fans who love Eddie despite his sexuality and those who delight in it. Gay people are accepted much more into society nowadays but Transgender is too complicated to explain, even Eddie has problems! I always explain that nobody is 100% male or 100% female, but society encourages us to be so. It is much more complex than that, tho.

The other day, on another forum, there was a discussion about weather women ever bought flowers for men on Valentines day, and that throws up many questions about gender roles - can men deal with women spending money on them and do men even like flowers??!! The straight tv's said they'd love it!!

HI MW! My hubby LOVES flowers, so I buy him flowers from time to time. As he does me. Of course we don't do it as much as we like because our cats attack the flowers, try to pull them out of the vases and end up knocking the whole thing over and creating a mess! Hi MW, I have to say I really don't spend very much time on the internet to begin with, and very little even now on Eddie's board. That's why I have always come to the board, to talk about Eddie and his career, but it doesn't seem to happen much anymore, talking about Eddie that is.
