Justin was fuming despite Chris and Mercado's best efforts to calm him.

"You're expecting an awful lot out of the three of us...how are we supposed to find our way around a place that YOU admit to being confused in? You're the magic-guy...not us! We're just soldiers! Bad enough you shanghaied us off our ship for this, to the worst possible conditioned planetoid in the SPUniverse, one with bad memories for us too, but now we're supposed to be your errand boys? And this purity of mind stuff? We're not trained for this...of COURSE there's gonna be a stray thought. And...and then what's going to happen?"

The others stood in silence.

"You should have died with the rest of the WR@, old man; you know I'm not afraid to shoot the messenger. You're going to have to go a lot further than this to convince me, the way you've suckered my friends. Guys, if you're going then I can't let you go without me...but come on, this is crazy! Please....please think about it..."

But as Justin looked at the earnest expressions on Christopher Braddock and Cado Sar's faces, he sighed and knew already what their answer would be. Despite his hatred of all the WR@ had done to him and to Rugby, if someone needed saving Grey was as noble at heart as the others and would not shirk duty. He also realized he had interupted Rana's plan. The wizard was devious if nothing else, and if Justin was going to survive and make sure the others did too, he was going to have to hear everything the Manarian had to say...
