Subject: Math and Reason, Important

Oh, I would also agree that math and logic are important.

I'm not saying that at all. Of course they're important. However, it is also 'important' and is an aspect of intelligence to have abilities that don't envision the need for math or logic at all, not even a little bit.

Everything in the world is not built entirely of logic and reason. Chaos is certainly neither logical nor reasonable, yet Choas theory might be what underlies everything.

If Chaos theory is correct, then how can one say that the world is built on logic and reason?

Entropy is also logical, but it seems that humans fight entropy constantly. It seems that the very thing they do is fight entropy in all things. So, is it reasonable to go against what is reasonable and underlying all? Yet, our whole existance is to fight entropy.

Is this reasonable? All things decay is the state of the universe, yet we have put ourselves above that law and try to fight entropy at all times.

We are as unlike water running downhill as one can get. Water running downhill is reasonable, humans oppose reason - but say they are reasonable. Their physics defines a world of chaos where entropy reigns, yet humans fight 'reason' with every movement every time they walk up any set of stairs, and everytime they replace a spark plug in their car.

So, although math and reason are important, we rarely stop to assess what they might imply to us. Nor, are we able to see all inconsistencies in our ways of thinking.
