freedom from other peoples morals:

the freedom of sexual orientation
the freedom of choice
the freedom to die
the freedom to do drugs in a reasponsible manner
the freedom to choose what school your children will attend
the freedom to pray in a private manner where ever you choose to go, and for what ever you wish to pray for
the freedom to associate in what ever manner with whoever you want
the freedom to persue what you wish reasponsibly regardless of race, creed, collor, or sexual orientation
the freedom to go to cuba or iraqu if you so choose
the freedom to burn a flag
the freedom to speak in what ever manner about what ever you believe in
the freedom to persue what ever religion you choose
the freedom to carry a gun
the freedom to do just about anything that does not hinder someone else's personal pursuit of life and liberty...

But freedom comes with a price, it is not one sided as you see...all these things we are divided upon, freedom is freedom to do what you want to do...but this price is your feelings cannot limit someone else's freedom if he is not damaging your right to persue happiness...freedom is not a your free if you agree with me, it should be live and let live...
...this is a big reason why both dem.'s and rep.'s are wrong, they have two distinct manufactured versions of mass freedom which are simply nopt true freedom...

...this is why I am voting libertarian acrossed the board this time...there are many issues under this domain which goverment has proven they cannot fix...particularly discrimination and hate, and what exactly free speach should allow for...we as a people must become vigilent and correct these issues ourselves...

...we need less goverment involvement in everything period...

...whether a social or economic issue...

...the purpose of goverment and society, it's responsiblity, should be to merely maintain a lose social structure where people are free to chase down there desires...like wise, we have a responsiblity to society to make sure this system can work...

...I am talking about the greatest degree of decentralized goverment possible, returning as much reasponsibilty as possible to the people...

Freedom is liberation. You do not want freedom. You do not know what you ask for. In freedom, oneis free simply from all influence. Can you be free as an individual if your actions are based against a certain idea? Can you be free when all you choices in life are in opposition to that which enslaves you to misery? The very choice against misery only shows that you are not free from that misery. Surely we are not talking aboutp hysical freedom, because that includes flying, shape-shifting - don't fool yourselves into thinking that you'll be satisfied with just realistic physical freedom - you will want more when that is achieved. So we are dealing with a mental aspect of freedom which is where the deep slavery to society exists.

You want freedom because you feel trapped. You do not want freedom! You want the opposite of that which makes you miserable, sad, jealous, etc etc. That is NOT freedom, that is simply and factually that which carries on mental slavery to ideas. You are miserable because society has forced you.... rather, you were born into a certain pattern of life, a certain set of rules and you do not like it because you are miserable. If you were not miserable through this imposition, then you would not be seeking freedom.

Why do you think that you seek freedom only when you are miserable? It's not that certain laws bring misery, because some laws bring more of a sense of misery to some and less to others.

It is you that is not free. YOU are not free. Merely changing your political status will not bring any amount of freedom. That will just give you, temporarily a sense of well-being..... hope. Nothing more. Since it is YOU that is not free.... and you are NOTHING more than your hopes and fears and attachement to past accumulated experiecne.... you must efface yourself. Once you are effaced, you can move through society with total freedom. Until then, you can continue to change the outter in hopes to change the inner, but unless you change the inner, the inner will remain enslaved to everything it relates to.
