The compassion of an enlightened man is beyond the comprehensiono f most. While most who roam this planet consider compassion to be some type of gatifying agreeance with their own ideologies or monetary gratuity, the real compassion lies in the understanding of the confusion that leads to misery in another person, and therfore a passion to end that confusion arises because the state of not being confused or fearful is such a benediction that one has suddenly attained eternity in a single moment and lives there in that moment and that moment only..... the prestent.
George Gurdjeiff used to yell at his students, insulting them because he knew through his early years of teaching that just compassion would not work, because with the compassion of nurturing a students emotional well being, that student would develop a sense that his/her unaware state is OK, just that a certain added bit of knowledge is needed. BUt Gurdgieff knows that the very emotional status of his diciples is the very thing that is needed to be destroyed and to destroy it is to face it. Hiding one's anger deep down, one's own self-consciousness or one's own emostional instability is the opposite of what is needed. 99% of everyone who tries to become fully aware will not only because they think they can become aware while still avoiding their fears and their emotional instability.

I fully understand your point, but I have no desire to perpetuate such a waste of conversation, because to me and only to me, it is clear that this superficial conversation about politics.... and all political talk is superficial... is just a cover-up of something more profound... something more fundamental. I will speak fundamentally and not superficially.
