...it's 8 legs clicking individually on the stone flooring. They were creaping little things, looking like little mechanical spiders, but they sure got the job done. Another crawler exited the ruin, and deposited rubble, going back in its endless loop of work. The team had set up the crawlers to help with the dispensing of rubble, the little things moved in a endless circle of picking up rubble, and dumping it off.

Finally, the rubble was clear. Commander Keen turned on his light, and went down the stairs...
