Commander Steven Keen entered a large open room. The light from his head lamp only revealing parts of it at a time.

"Team, get down here and come look at this..."

The rest of the members who had been sent in to explore the pyramid walk down the stairway slowly, and enter the room. With the added light brought by the team, the room was now lite well enough to see. Across the walls, symbols carved, grouped into groups of seven. In the center of the room lay a strange pedestal, that had a globe in the middle, and two sets of rings surrounding the globe. The rings were separated into sections, each section contained one symbol, that seemed to be from the wall. The most interesting thing in the room, however, was behind the pedestal. A large metal ring, standing on end, adorned in the same symbols as the walls, and the pedestal. Baker pulled out an instrument and began some scans.

"S-s-s-s-s-sir, th-th-th-this seems to be made of-of-of an unknown me-me-me-metal."

"Interesting....this thing needs to be taken to Rugby for study. Transmit our coordinates, and ask for them to transport this....ring....to Engineering. Also request a team to be sent down to further study this pyramid. Once we've seen this thing off, we'll exit the pyramid, and get ready to explore other areas of Manar."

The team nodded, and went to work. Soon a blue beam enveloped the artifact. The beam faded, and the ring was gone.

"Okay folks, let's get out of here."
