I played an incarnation of this pair a long long time ago ~~in a galaxy far away~~. But now they're back.

Name: Veerai
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: Veerai is fair skinned, small, red-headed and plain. Her eyes are worried, wide and brown, seeming to take up her entire, lightly freckled face.

Personality: Veerai worries about doing what's right by everyone she meets. She's not exactly the most strong female out there, but she'll get the job done if she has to. A very sweet and clumsy young girl, she's loyally devoted to her Endeventh and her greatest fear is that she will embarass her wonderful dragon. Veerai's other big fear is going between, which she almost never does. You might say she's a bit dependent, but that means she'll never let her friends down.

Dragon name: Endeventh
Age: Adult
Color: Green
Appearance/Personality: Endeventh is a green on the larger side of the color's height and build. She's well fleshed and a bright grass green. Endeventh is a cheerful dragon, protective of her Veerai and reassuring even when the girl has a pitfall. She can be impatient with the setbacks her rider's idiosyncrasies cause, but she'll never show it. Typically, Endeventh is also just a tad on the vain side.

History: Veerai was to inherit the title of Lady Holder of a somewhat prominent hold, she being the Holder's only legitimate child. That all changed when she attended a hatching for the weyr they were beholden to and Impressed Endeventh unexpectedly. Weyrling training was something of a nightmare, Veerai being rather slow and tripped up in her progress and mortified by the way she was making her beloved dragon look. The two eventually survived their training and then shortly thereafter their first mating flight. Veerai was pleased with the dragon and rider pair Endeventh had chosen (a big, sweet, strapping brownrider named L'tre and his brown Tyreth) , and things went well for the pair. Then the storms hit and the greenrider was forced to leave her weyr, her home. She and Endeventh followed the course more or less that the other riders had taken. Being green in more ways than just color, the pair has taken an awful long time to reach their destination.

In addition to all of this, Veerai's avoidance of going between has lead to another little problem and she's currently about three months with child from Endeventh's flight with Tyreth. It really hasn't bothered her much yet, but then that could be because it hasn't really hit home yet. For now though, the pair is content to be back among dragons and riders, safe in a weyr again at last.
