I'm ready any time, though we never really finished discussing the Byatt. Did everyone else finish? Since only a couple of us had posted comments (Sorry yours were lost, Dave!), it might be good to get others' comments before we move forward with the next one.

I've read several books since then, but I think I could still respond reasonably intelligently to anyone else's thoughts.

Let's set a date, though, for starting Twain. I need something to force me into finishing "A Prayer for Owen Meany" faster. I've been working on it for over two weeks now and am only about halfway through it. Irving's a talker!!! Thoughts?
