Memorial for the superhero that got shot
On a stretcher praying to a God that could care less
We may not share beliefs but one day we'll share death

I eye her like a Pisces for my own sake
Secretive, I interpret her poetry in my own way
Sometimes meaning is pointless, disjointed
Finding a place to bury my disappointment
Shove it down to the bottom of my heart
Where it burns, arrests my development
It gives me Hell, thats all I expect from it

Don't be like Kourtney, don't be like Kurt
Pretend you don't feel, pretend it doesn't hurt
Die....that's how a starving artist gets work
Adjust your material, make it sappy and dumb
Need your empathy when we're feeling numb
Desensitized, immune, off-key, out-of-tune
Awkward as the position I now assume
Free-spirited and perverse
