Subject: (Journal)* Barbara/Thievery Corp./Lizard King

I talked to Barbara today. She was at the library on her laptop. Lately when we talk we talk about eccentric bands or musicians. I was telling her about this band that my brother put me up on. they do techno/electronia music. I don't remember the name of the CD of their's I heard.

For some reason unexplained my brother threw away the Thievery Corporation CD. I listened to it and wrote to it one time after we got high. I don't remember the songs by name but every now and then one of them will come on, on SiriusXm. My brother is in my room right now and I just asked him politely, "What possessed you to throw away the Thievery Corporation album?"
He's going through photo albums and he still didn't give me an answer, he just changed the subject. I have to get to the bottom of this. I want closure. (Lol) Anyways, I watched this documentary on Ovation about Jim Morrison. I'm not a huge fan of The Doors music but I like Jim Morrison's poetry.
He had a book of poems called, "An American Prayer".
I read some of his bio before, I was shocked to learn that he studied film at UCLA before starting a band. If he hadn't died so young I think he would've become an actor and eventually have become a director.
