Subject: Buckley/Surrealism/Pound (Rant)*

Lately, I've been on love with Jeff Buckley's music. I can't stop listening to his songs, "Grace", "So Real", and "Dream Brother". I can listen to his music over and over and it never gets old to me.
I think Jeff buckley had one of the most unique voices I've
ever heard in any genre. I've been wanting to look up the origins of avant-garde art in America. I'm guessing I would start with looking up Marcel Duchamp. Been meaning to read some of Ezra Pound's poetry, I know that his writing style was called imagism. I always forget whether Ezra Pound was a man or woman.

Read some Langston hughes that Jamila posted in the forum today. I've only read one of his books, I don't remember the name of it. He was a great writer but I have opinions about his work that other writers or readers mioght not like. I felt that he was reverse-racist.
I understand that he lived in times where race relations in America weren't what they are now.
