Subject: Ideas for Improvements

Hello everyone,

During the lull in proceedings caused by Paris's customary early end to the season, I have been working on some tools for the FWL website, in conjunction with Paul.

So far, I've made an page which allows GMs to swap players around on their roster and email someone suitable (commissioner) with the results. This needs to be enhanced to allow GMs to swap players between being active and inactive.

Anyway, have a look at the 'development' version at

www.battyeweb.org.uk/roster.html

(There is no password protection at the moment, but this will be included soon). Also, the finished version will look much better!

Paul is keen the development of this tool, as it would make his job of keeping rosters up-to-date easier and would make it simpler for GMs to change their rosters - even if they are away from their usual email machine.

Other ideas I've had are;

1. A page which pulls together all relevant information on a team e.g. roster, starting lineup, schedule, team stats and players stats.

2. A "trade offer" facility - you make a trade offer to another GM, next time they visit the site, it is there for them to either dismiss or to open further discussion.

Has anyone got any other ideas which would enhance the FWL experience (except winning every game)?

Andrew
