I'm personaly opposed to #1. I don't think that writing these kinds of previews should be a "job" to the point that the team's future is affected.

Besides, being newer, I don't know all the team histories and rivalries and so on and it would be difficult for me to do something along those lines. Sure I can go back and see old scores but that won't tell me the story behind them. So that would be difficult for me to do. Also, I've written a short article that was never used (I think Whispers didn't come out that week) and that doesn't motivate me to sit down and create more.

I'm indifferent to #2. If the league went this way, I'd shrug and say "okay then".

I like #3 best though I'd like to hear more info on it. Would only certain GM's be chosen, or would you suggest that a deadline be set and those who don't meet it simply miss out? The latter seems to make more sense to me.

Anyway, as usual, I'll play along with whatever comes about.
