...but when I went over Scotland's roster after seeing their record, I was quite surprised. I was expecting it to be brutal, but there were certainly a few guys there I would gladly have traded for. In fact, I did attempt to trade with Scotland on two separate occasions but we couldn't work it out.

I'll assume they were wiped out by injury or something. Although I recall now Ronnie saying he needed OL help so perhaps it was a matter of struggling there to the point that it wiped out his entire offense.
